JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team was defeated by North Florida 6-1 Sunday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Complex.
The Jaguars jumped to a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point. Seniors Yu Fujioka and Nikola Kohoutova teamed up to beat Lucia Montano and Constanza Gorches 6-3 on court two. Otoha Aoki and Aina Domingo-Bernabeu clinched the one-point advantage with a 7-6(7-1) result on court three, but the Ospreys claimed all six singles matches for the win.
