JAG VOLLEYBALL SUFFERS FIRST SBC LOSS OF SEASON AT CCU

CONWAY, S.C. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team fell to Coastal Carolina in four sets (25-23, 18-25, 16-25, 15-25) Sunday in a Sun Belt Conference East Division match at The HTC Center.

The loss snapped a five-game Jaguar win streak, which also marked the first loss in league play this season. South Alabama (12-6, 5-1 SBC) won the opening set to take a 1-0 lead in the match before Coastal Carolina (12-4, 6-0 SBC) rallied to win three straight sets for the victory.
