HARRISONBURG, Va. – South Alabama volleyball fell in straight sets at James Madison Saturday in Sun Belt Conference action at Sinclair Gymnasium.
JMU (21-4, 15-1 SBC) won the opening set in extra points, taking a 1-0 lead with a 28-26 win in set one. The Dukes took set two 25-22 for a 2-0 lead, and clinched the match with a 25-23 win in the third set. The loss marked South Alabama's fourth straight on the road.
Hannah Maddux posted a game-high 18 kills, .282 hitting percentage, two digs and one block.
