NACOGDOCHES, Texas – South Alabama volleyball dropped a pair of matches to open the SFA Invitational Friday. The Jags fell in straight sets to Tulsa (25-20, 25-22, 25-23) to open the tournament, and lost to host SFA (25-20, 23-25, 20-25, 23-25) in four sets to close the first day of play.

South Alabama (2-3) will face McNeese at 11 a.m. Saturday to close the SFA Invitational in Nacogdoches, Texas.
