MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team defeated New Orleans 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
Jack Clements and Louis Delcour opened up doubles with a 6-3 win on court one. Martin Bugaj and Javier Montoya clinched the doubles point on court three to put the Jags on top 1-0.
In singles, Javier Montoya won in straight sets on court five to extend the lead to 2-0. After dropping the first set, Clements battled back to win in three sets to make it 3-0. New Orleans took court four to cut the deficit to 3-1.
