MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's basketball team defeated Georgia Southern 74-68 Saturday in Sun Belt Conference action at the Mitchell Center.
The Jaguars trailed 39-31 at the half, but outscored Georgia Southern 43-29 in the second half to secure the victory. Josh Ajayi finished with a game-high 24 points, and also added eight rebounds and two steals, marking his 16th game of the season with double figures in scoring and sixth with 20 or more points.
USA (12-8, 5-4 Sun Belt) will return to action Thu., Jan. 23, when it faces Arkansas State in a Sun Belt Conference game at 7 p.
