MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama Director of Athletics Dr. Joel Erdmann announced Wednesday that the school has signed a contract with Louisiana State for a football matchup between the two programs during the 2024 season.
The contest will be played on Sept. 28 that fall in Baton Rouge. It's the third non-conference date set for the Jaguars that season, with South also slated to open with an Aug. 31 home game against North Texas before visiting Ohio on Sept. 7.
"It will be great to play a team that is perennially in the top 10-15 in the country, one that is an SEC power and has been among the best in the region for the longest time," said Jag head coach Steve Campbell.
