MOBILE, Ala. – Tonight's series opener between the University of South Alabama baseball team and Georgia State, scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch at Stanky Field, has been postponed due to inclement weather.
A dangerous line of storms moving across Texas and Louisiana Friday morning is expected to move into the Mobile area tonight, which forced USA officials to cancel all campus activities for the evening. Thursday's game will now be played as part of a Friday doubleheader at Stanky Field beginning at 3 p.m. Game two of the series will begin 45 minutes to an hour after the completion of game one.
