MOBILE, Ala. – Wednesday's baseball game between the University of South Alabama and New Orleans, originally scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch at Maestri Field in New Orleans, has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
Severe thunderstorms were forecast for most of the day for the New Orleans area. No make-up date has been decided on at this time.
South Alabama will return to action Fri., Feb. 22, when it hosts Tennessee Tech in the first of a three-game weekend series at Stanky Field. Game one is set for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch Friday evening.
