MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama baseball team wrapped up its second week of fall practice with three intrasquad games last weekend.
USA has played eight intrasquads since it opened fall practice on Oct. 10, and will continue to play every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the end of fall drills which are scheduled to conclude on Sun., Nov. 20.
"I have been pretty pleased with the competition," USA head coach Mark Calvi said. "You have the ups and downs of the fall, like anyone else, and the doldrums of just playing your own team, but I have seen some good things out of some guys.
