MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama baseball team scored 17 runs in the first three innings en route to a 22-7 win over New Orleans Wednesday at Stanky Field.
After UNO (12-8) plated three runs in the top of the first inning, USA (11-8) responded with seven runs in the bottom of the first, six in the second and four in the third inning.
South Alabama will return to action this weekend when it travels to Jonesboro, Ark., for a three-game Sun Belt Conference series at Arkansas State.
