MOBILE, Ala.- Irene Campo of the South Alabama women's soccer team was recognized as a fourth-team All American by the United Soccer Coaches.
Campo was spectacular for the Jags in her sophomore campaign, earning Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year honors for her play as well as first-team All Sun Belt. The Santander, Spain native led the conference in goals with 12 and was second in points in 29. The midfielder also recorded six assists and registered 1466 minutes of action. Campo shined for the Jags this season and was a major part of their 10-6-3 season in which they clinched the West Division of the Sun Belt.
