MOBILE, Ala. – With the start of the spring season on Friday, first-year soccer head coach Richard Moodie sat down with "Inside JagNation" for this week's edition of the official podcast of the University of South Alabama Department of Athletics.
Moodie was hired in December after leading both the men's and women's programs at Carson-Newman, guiding the former to a 59-44-9 overall record in six seasons and the latter to a 48-38-7 mark in the last five years. Not only did he take the Eagles to the 2013 NCAA Division II men's national championship game, he guided the women's program to a 36-7-1 record, back-to-back South Atlantic Conference regular-season and tournament titles and consecutive berths in the NCAA Tournament in 2015 and '16.
