2016 National Pitcher of the Year Watch List
LUBBOCK, Texas – University of South Alabama baseball right-hander Kevin Hill was named to the latest 2016 National Pitcher of the Year watch list, as announced by the National College Baseball Hall of Fame on Wednesday.
Hill, the lone Sun Belt Conference representative on the list, leads the league in strikeouts (107) and innings pitched (96.2), ranks tied for first in wins (8), ranks second in opposing batting average (.201) and fourth in ERA (2.23). His 107 strikeouts ranks tied for third in the nation, while his four complete games ranks 15th nationally.
