NEW ORLEANS – University of South Alabama men's golfer Jack Hearn was voted the Sun Belt Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
Hearn (67-66-70) earned his first tournament victory with a season-low 13-under par 203 at the Craft Farms Invitational, which South Alabama hosted March 27-29 at the Craft Farms Golf Course – Cotton Creek. The senior shot under par in all three rounds highlighted by a season low 6-under 66 during the second round. He also led in par-three scoring with a 3-under par average of 2.
