MOBILE, Ala. – A pair of freshmen – Jenna Hardy and Mackenzie Brasher – helped the University of South Alabama softball team pick up its first win of the season Tuesday night as the Jags defeated Southern, 6-2 in its home opener at Jaguar Field.
Brasher recorded a pair of hits, scored a run, drove in a run and stole a base, while Hardy tossed a complete game for South striking out nine and allowing just a pair of hits.
