MOBILE, Ala. – Former University of South Alabama Trhae Mitchell has been called up by the Houston Rockets' to compete on the organization's NBA Summer League team.
Mitchell and the Rockets will begin NBA 2k23 Summer League action Thursday night at 9 p.m. (CT) versus the Orlando Magic at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., which will be aired on ESPN.
Earlier this spring, Mitchell helped the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, an affiliate of the Rockets, capture the G-League Championship with a 131-114 win over the Delaware Blue Coats.
The guard appeared in 28 games this season for the Vipers, averaging 9.
