MOBILE, Ala. - FC Bayern München (BBL) announced Tuesday the signing of former South Alabama men's basketball forward Augustine Rubit. Rubit played last season at Zalgiris in the Lithuanian LKL league.
FC Bayern München finished last season fourth in the BBL, going 24-10 and was a quarterfinalist in the Euroleague.
In 38 games last season, he averaged 7.4 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per contest. He helped lead Zagaris to win the league title and the cup. Rubit also played 31 games in the Euroleague where he had 8.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 19 minutes of action per game.
