MOBILE, Ala. – Due to forecasted weather in the Mobile area on Sunday, the South Alabama women's tennis match versus West Alabama has been moved. The Jaguars will now open the 2023 spring season on Monday with first serve set for 1:30 p.m. at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
The match is the first of five-straight on South's home court to open the season. South Alabama, the reigning Sun Belt Conference champions, posted a 10-1 record in conference play last spring. The Jags return four from last years roster, including Luminita Tutunaru, who was named second-team doubles all-Sun Belt.
