MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama senior tight end Gerald Everett will get a chance to showcase his talents at the conclusion of his Jaguar career as he received an invitation on Friday to compete in this year's Reese's Senior Bowl. The game will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:30 (CT) at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Everett becomes the fifth Jaguar in program history to earn an invitation to the prestigious postseason contest, joining former South Alabama players Courtney Smith (2011), B.J. Scott and Jake Johnson (2013) and Wes Saxton (2015). Both Smith and Scott played in the game, while Johnson and Saxton were invited but were unable to compete.
