ELEVEN FORMER JAGS COMPETING IN MLB, MiLB

MOBILE, Ala. – Eleven former University of South Alabama baseball standouts are currently competing in Major League and Minor League Baseball.

David Freese is batting .300 with 12 doubles, nine home runs, 27 RBIs, 32 runs scored and a .399 on-base percentage in 66 games played with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers lead the National League West Division by 16 games over the San Francisco Giants.

Left-handed pitcher Locke St. John made his Major League Baseball debut on June 25 against the Detroit Tigers as a member of the Texas Rangers.
