MOBILE, Ala. – Dallas Davis threw for two scores and Gerald Everett recorded a team-best four receptions to help lift the Red to a 35-21 victory over the Blue Saturday in the University of South Alabama football program's iHeartRadio Red-Blue Spring Game at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Davis was 7-of-9 passing on the day, recording 111 yards, and he guided the Red offense to scores on each of its first two possessions in a wire-to-wire win. He opened the day with a 60-yard pass to Xavier Johnson out of the backfield, connecting with Everett — who would finish with 53 yards — for a five yard-touchdown pass three plays later.
