MLB All-Star David Freese is among four former South Alabama standouts who will be inducted into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame this fall.
Freese, an All-American for the Jaguars baseball team in 2006, joins Nic Chisholm (tennis), Ernie Rosseau (baseball) and Lindsay Schwartz (track & field) in USA's 2018 Hall of Fame class. The group will be inducted Nov. 10, and will be honored at that day's football game.
Chisholm, a native of South Africa, was a four-time All-Sun Belt Conference performer in men's tennis from 1995-98. He was a All-American in 1996, and led the Jaguars to four NCAA tournament appearances and three Sun Belt Conference championship.
