MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama's men's tennis student-athlete Sébastien Collard was named Third Team CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) At-Large Academic All-America.
Collard, the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year and first-team all-conference selection in singles and doubles, earned the All-America honor for the first time in his career.
The Gatineau, Quebec, Canada native's highlights from the season included beating Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez of Louisiana in straight sets as the Jaguars defeated the previously unbeaten Ragin' Cajuns on April 2. He was undefeated against Sun Belt opponents, marking a 5-0 record in doubles.
