HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - South Alabama women were led by Charleen Elizondo to place 20th out of 48 teams and Blayton Bernard led the men's team with a personal best 26:09.7.
Bernard finished 160th in the field of 457, with Alabama's Victor Kiprop taking the individual title and helping lead Alabama to the men's team title. The men's team did not record a team score due to sickness, with only four runners competing for the Jags.
Elizondo finished 104th out of the 459 runners that finished, with Ckervie Chagot finishing 151st, and Teanna Cason and Samantha Menikeheim in 176th and 178th, then Maria Gelvez placing 212th for the women's scoring runners.
