MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama head football coach Major Applewhite has announced the additions of JT May and Cedric Douglas to positions on his staff.
May will serve as the program's chief of staff and Douglas will be the defensive line coach. Both May and Douglas were on staff together at Utah State in 2024.
May spent four seasons at Utah State in various roles within the program. He arrived in 2020 and worked with the team's quarterbacks in a quality control role before serving as an offensive recruiting analyst in 2021.
