South Alabama snapped is three-game losing streak with a 45-7 victory over Alabama State on Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
After getting off to a sluggish start offensively, the Jaguars (2-5) scored on six straight possessions to build at 38-7 lead by late in the third quarter. South Alabama allowed just one big play defensively, keeping the Hornets (2-4) bottled up much of the evening.

1. South Alabama was obviously the more talented team on the field
The talent disparity between the two teams was obvious on Saturday night, as it was clear that the FBS-level Jaguars had more speed, strength and depth than their FCS counterparts from the SWAC.
