5 things we learned from South Alabama's 41-31 victory over Texas State

South Alabama picked up its first win of the season and first under new coach Steve Campbell on Saturday, beating Texas State 41-31 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

The Jaguars (1-2, 1-0 Sun Belt Conference) trailed by eight at halftime and by 15 in the third quarter before rallying for the win. USA scored the game's final 25 points, 18 in the fourth quarter.
