South Alabama began the Steve Campbell era with a 30-26 loss to Louisiana Tech on Saturday night at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
The Jaguars trailed 20-7 at halftime and 23-7 in the third quarter before rallying with three second-half touchdowns. However, USA never had the lead in falling to 0-1 this season.
