South Alabama is a 13.5-point underdog vs. Air Force in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl Friday in Tucson, Arizona.
The Jaguars (6-6) are looking for their first bowl win, and to finish with a winning record for the first time in four years as an FBS program. South Alabama lost in the Camellia Bowl in 2014, falling 33-28 to Bowling Green and finishing 6-7.
"We know what kind of team we have and feel like we can match up with them," South Alabama coach Joey Jones said. "It's just going to come down to, like most games, whoever makes the plays.
