CARSON, Calif. (AP) -- Gyasi Zardes had a goal and two assists on Saturday night, and the Los Angeles Galaxy beat the Philadelphia Union 5-1 in the only league meeting between the teams this season.
Baggio Husidic opened the scoring with a putback in the 23rd minute after Zardes' shot rebounded squarely off the post.
The Galaxy (6-5-7) doubled their lead in the 35th when Zardes cut a cross back to Juninho, who blasted home a left-footed shot.
Robbie Keane delivered a wide cross past four defenders to assist Zardes in the 56th minute.
