It was odd that Colombian forward/winger Dayro Moreno was spotted in the box of last night’s Xolos match against Monarcas Morelia. The co-leader in goals in the Apertura would have been helpful for Xolos, as they struggled to mount much offensive pressure against Monarcas. Today we know why he did not play, as Colombian side Atlético Nacional confirms via twitter that they are in “advanced negotiations” with Moreno.

In the brief article on the Atlético website, it says that the club has reached a tentative agreement with Moreno and that he could start the pre-season in mid-January with Atlético.
