Wojciech Szczęsny vs Inaki Pena: Who will be No. 1 when Barcelona return to action?

Barcelona’s decision to bring in Wojciech Szczu0119sny after Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s serious injury means there’s now a battle for the No. 1 spot at the club.

Szczesny has come out of retirement to join the Catalan giants but has already insisted he wants to help Pena and knows he’s not guaranteed a starting spot.

However, he’s also said he wants to win things at Barcelona, suggesting he really hasn’t signed for the club purely to sit on the bench for the next few months.

Szczesny has been out of the game for a matter of months and is expected to be match fit by the time Barca’s next game against Sevilla rolls around.
