Wojciech Szczesny put in a simply brilliant showing for Barcelona on Wednesday night as Hansi Flick’s men beat Benfica 1-0 in the Champions League.
The goalkeeper had a busy night, particularly after Barca were reduced to 10 men, but simply would not be beaten as he kept a priceless clean sheet.
According to Opta, Szczesny also made club history with his performance as he made eight saves - a new record by a Barcelona goalkeeper since they started keeping count back in 2003-04.
