Wojciech Szczu0119sny is reportedly in discussions with Barcelona over a new contract that will keep him at the club for the next 12 months and possibly another year after that.
According to Cadena SER, the Polish goalkeeper is in talks over a renewal for one season plus an optional one and an agreement is expected to be reached.
Szczesny’s agent has already made it clear he thinks it will be easy to agree an extension, suggesting the goalkeeper will be staying on after a fine season with the club.
The report states that Szczesny is happy at Barcelona, well liked in the dressing room, has a great relationship with the youngsters and is happy to continue his career in Catalunya.
