Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has left top scorer Robert Lewandowski out of his matchday squad for Saturday’s clash with Osasuna.
The German coach spoke about his plan to rotate his team ahead of the game but the Poland international isn’t even on the bench.
According to reporter Adria Albets, Lewandowski joined up with the team this morning at the hotel but “went home because he was very tired and had some physical discomfort.”
Flick has decided to give Lewandowski a “complete rest” so that he is fresh and ready to go on Tuesday when Barcelona take on Benfica in the second leg of their Champions League tie.
