EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Argentina and Chile will meet in the 45th Copa America final on Sunday evening at MetLife Stadium, a rematch of the team's Group D opener as well as last year's final, which the Chileans won on home soil. This year's "Centenario" edition of South America's continental championship tournament (scheduled to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the tournament) has Chile defending its title just 12 months after La Roja won the competition for the first time.
Meanwhile, two-time World Cup champ Argentina is looking for its first trophy at the senior level in 23 years, and comes into the contest with Lionel Messi in perhaps the best form of his international career.
