It’s been far from a vintage season for FC Barcelona but there have still been some highlights and reasons to be cheerful.
Considering how poorly the team have played at times, and there’s often been a ‘make do and mend’ look to the starting XI, the fact that the squad have managed to secure second place shouldn’t be seen as ‘failure.’
As long as certain players remain fit and healthy, and one or two studious transfers are made in the summer, there’s no reason why supporters shouldn’t look forward to the new campaign with some positivity.
