VANCOUVER – With their semifinal tie versus FC Edmonton hanging in the balance, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are determined to advance in this year’s Canadian Championship by playing stronger line-up versus the NASL club in the second leg on Wednesday night.
The Voyageurs Cup has been an elusive trophy for the Blue and White, and after last week’s 1-1 first-leg draw at home to the Eddies, ‘Caps head coach Carl Robinson is focused on getting the result they need at Clarke Field to advance to the two-leg final versus Montreal Impact in August.
