Whitecaps make roster moves for 2016

Vancouver picks up contract options on 10 players and declines the options on another six, as head coach Carl Robinson looks to build on 2015.

VANCOUVER – Carl Robinson emphasized the need to improve his Vancouver Whitecaps FC squad after the club announced roster changes ahead of the 2016 season.

The Blue and White exercised the contract options on 10 players. They include goalkeeper David Ousted, center back Tim Parker, midfielders Gershon Koffie and Nicolas Mezquida, and strikers Erik Hurtado, Kekuta Manneh, and Darren Mattocks.

The Whitecaps have spoken to Ousted about a longer-term deal with the club.
