Pre-season training has already begun for those Barcelona players not involved in the European Championship, Copa America or Olympic Games, and Hansi Flick will undoubtedly be already making mental notes regarding certain players.
As more and more return, so the coach and his backroom team, together with Deco, will be able to come to a final decision on which players he wants in his squad next season.
Not all will be retained, and those that do won’t necessarily form part of his ideal starting XI.
