The U.S. national team forward will not be joining up with the German club, according to sporting director Thomas Eichin.
There is good news today for the Seattle Sounders in the Jordan Morris saga.
Morris, a U.S. national team forward and former Stanford University standout who has his MLS rights owned by the Sounders, was on trial with Werder Bremen in Germany and had been offered a contract by the club. The Sounders were left to wait and see what his decision would be, but as of Monday they felt confident of their chances of landing the talented youngster on a homegrown contract.
