The Arsenal boss also says the French Football Federation has made the right decision in suspending the Real Madrid striker from international action.
Arsene Wenger has ruled out an Arsenal move for Karim Benzema, insisting the Gunners do not need the Real Madrid striker as they have Olivier Giroud.
The Gunners have been consistently linked with a move for Benzema yet Giroud's recent form has seen Wenger describe him as "one of the best in Europe".
Giroud's hat trick against Olympiakos on Wednesday means he has now scored 13 goals in 23 appearances this season and his manager is happy to have him at the Emirates.
