Sir Bobby Charlton led the tributes to Wayne Rooney after the Manchester United striker became England's all-time leading goalscorer on Tuesday.
Rooney's penalty at Wembley against Switzerland was his 50th goal for England, eclipsing Charlton's longstanding record of 49 strikes.
The former England and Manchester United great was quick to heap praise on Rooney and believes there is more to come from the current Red Devils and national team captain, per ManUtd.com:
I would like to congratulate Wayne on becoming England's leading goalscorer. I have always been very proud to hold this record.
