Watford-West Ham United Preview

West Ham United have enjoyed an unexpectedly excellent season, and with five matches to play, the Hammers hope it won't be for naught as they head toward the run-in of the Premier League season.

The east Londoners (13-6-14) are preparing to face Watford on Wednesday at Upton Park and also hoping to extend their impressive unbeaten streak in league play to nine matches.

The Irons feel a bit hard done by Sunday's 2-2 draw with league leaders Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Andy Carroll and Aaron Cresswell answered a Jamie Vardy opener with goals inside the final six minutes, but referee John Moss whistled Carroll for a penalty deep in stoppage time, and Leonardo Ulloa buried it to give the Foxes an unlikely point.
