Angel Alarcon has had something of a nightmare spell with injuries of late but had reason to celebrate on Saturday after scoring on his return to action for Barcelona Atletic.
Rafa Marquez’s side actually lost 2-1 on Saturday to Nastic in their penultimate game of the season in the league. The win sees Nastic jump above Barca into second place on goal difference with the teams both level on 67 points.
Alarcon came off the bench in the 74th minute to replace Dani Rodriguez and scored in stoppage time. The forward was played in by Pau Victor and curled home a confident finish with his right foot.
