Wales beat Belgium as dream draws close

1. So close, Wales can almost touch it

Wales games have not always been the most rousing of occasions in the last few years, but shortly before the end of their 1-0 win over Belgium the crowd broke into a spine-tingling version of "Land Of My Fathers" that would have stirred even the most dormant soul.

And that's because the Welsh team has something to hope for, specifically their first appearance at a major finals since 1958, with qualification for France 2016 now within touching distance. Chris Coleman's side now sit atop Group B, three points clear of their more illustrious Belgian opponents -- who are ranked second in the world -- and crucially now five points ahead of third place, with four games remaining.
