Barcelona’s VP Jordi Cardoner said in a press conference that it's time for Agusti Benedito to hand over the signatures he has collected in an effort to oust Josep Maria Bartomeu as club president.
Benedito’s last update was that he had over 10,000 signatures of the 16,570 required to launch a vote on whether to remove Bartomeu as president.
Benedito maintains that he should have until October 2nd to collect the signatures, but Cardoner and the rest of the Barcelona board have maintained that today was the last day.
Benedito says that Saturdays should not count as part of the 14-day period he has to collect signatures, as they are legally not working days.
