Vitor Roque’s agent Andre Cury has claimed Barcelona weren’t too keen on letting the Brazilian leave the club this winter.
The youngster has moved to Palmeiras after a deal was struck to terminate his loan deal with Real Betis early.
Cury has opened up on the deal and says Barcelona hadn’t wanted him to go.
“If it depended on Barcelona, the answer would be ‘no’. So I met with Anderson and Leo Holanda, and together with a lawyer in Madrid, we pressed the matter and managed to get a favourable opinion from FIFA,” he told UOL.
