Victor Gyokeres has reportedly emerged as Barcelona’s top choice to take over from Robert Lewandowski when the striker’s time at the club is up.
Diario Sport are reporting that Gyokeres is Deco’s favourite option but he must decide when to make his move.
Lewandowski is in the midst of a prolific season at Barcelona, meaning the club may wait until 2026 to try and sign a top quality replcement rather than next summer.
Deco has spoken about Gyokeres in a recent interview and admitted he’s a big fan.
“Gyokeres is a good player,” he said.
